By consulting our office, you're taking an exciting first step toward better health.
Chiropractic care is different. It is this difference that offers new ways to get well and stay well. At Wright Chiropractic, we've helped many people from all walks of life. Knowing that, you can feel confident and hopeful in choosing our office for your care.
After filling out some brief paperwork, you'll meet with Dr. Wright. We offer this initial consultation so we can get to know one another, discuss your health history, and your goals for better health. For your convenience and to save some time in the office, new patient paperwork is available online here.
X-rays are pictures of your spine and can be very beneficial. Particulary after trauma, pictures of your spine can confirm our other findings and help determine a precise course of treatment. There are reasons why we may elect not to take x-rays on certain patients such as during pregnancy, children, and patients who have recent diagnostic quality images of their spine. Whether you require x-rays can be determined on your first visit.
Dr. Wright will study the results of your examination and give you a complete report of findings. He will show you what he found and the conclusions he has reached. If he finds you'd benefit from consulting a different practitioner, he will make the proper referral. Otherwise, Dr. Wright will recommend a program of specific chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Wright will answer any questions you may have and you will decide whether to go forward with care.
Some patients experience almost instant relief. Others discover the healing process can take longer. Every patient recovers at their own pace. Factors which can affect the healing process include your age, your overall health condition, muscle tone, diet, and even your attitude.
With a plan in place to fulfill your health goals, future visits will take just minutes. The purpose of these visits will be to locate and reduce your vetebral subluxations and monitor the healing process.
Health is a choice. Dr. Wright will present you with a course of care to help you to achieve your health goals. After you have completed your course of care, or at anytime for that matter, you always have a choice. You may choose to preserve the progress that you have made with chiropractic care by staying on a maintenance schedule or you may choose otherwise. Maintenance care is like going to the dentist for check-ups and is easily achieved by visiting the office once every month or two depending on how well you hold your adjustments. Once you see how beneficial chiropractic can be to your health, you will understand why our patients keep coming back. The choice is yours.
